WARWICK, RI — BankNewport has opened its 18th branch in Rhode Island, the first in Warwick, at 27 Strawberry Field Road.
A ribbon cutting ceremony with Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi was held Tuesday to commemorate the opening.
The bank will hold a community celebration from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, featuring the renowned Audrain Auto Museum and its Cars and Coffee event. The celebration is free and open to the public and will include a 2013 McLaren 12C, 2015 Bentley GT3R, 2011 Porsche 911 GT3RS, and a 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale, raffle prizes, and a food truck offering baked goods and coffee.

The full-service branch will feature the latest banking technologies for customer convenience, including drive-up image-enabled Personal Teller Machine (PTM) providing extended hours for banker support, in addition to a walk-up ATM and a night depository.
The bank will welcome customers to meet with universal bankers, who can assist with all banking transactions, as well as consumer loan originations, residential mortgages, commercial lending, business banking referrals, cash management, merchant services, online banking and mobile banking services.
BankNewport currently has branches in Barrington, Bristol, Coventry, Cranston, East Greenwich, Jamestown, Johnston, Middletown, Narragansett, Newport, North Kingstown, Portsmouth, Providence, Tiverton, and Warren, and lending offices in Cumberland and Providence.
